Some guests feel the in-house dining option is a bit pricier compared to takeaway, influenced by the need for cleaning up after meals. A handful of visitors might find the crispy batter different from traditional expectations, which may not please everyone. Peak dinner hours can lead to overcrowding, particularly on Fridays. This might lead to longer waits that some diners find less than ideal. Others may note the occasional lack of menu items during busy times, pointing to the demand for popular dishes like the cod. A few patrons also wish for more vegetarian options beyond what's currently available, expressing a desire for more diversity in plant-based selections.
Popped in at about 2pm, no one else’s earring in so it was kind of them to let us do so. It’s a bit more expensive to eat in but of course someone has to clean up after you. Fish was lovely, white & flakey, cooked to order. The batter wasn’t what I’m used too but it wasn’t greasy & it was a little crispy. Curry sauce good as was pie. Chips were hot & tasty.
